Ok I made a guild and paid 2k for my cape.

Does everyone that joins my guild need to pay 2k for their cape or do they get it for free when they join my guild? I am assuming either way they get a cape identical to mine.

A friend of mine erroneously created his own guild and got a cape, so I was wondering if this was gonna be a 2k lesson for one of us. hopefully one of us will just dissolve our guild and get the cape gratis when we join the other's guild.

its only 2k for the leader, the rest will get it for free.

Yep, 2k one time charge.

If they were smart, they would have made it so that you make the image. Then buy the cape, that way people could choose what design of cape they wanted... like ripped, triangular, etc. But that would have taken to much thought and effort.

Yeah I love the guild recruiting messages the actually say "Free" cape when you join

Are other guilds charging?

ok im confused how does a level 5 ele/ranger come up with 2k gold to buy a cape when all i can do is make 8 or less gold per kill? please help me figure it out thanks

Don't buy one...

I waited till lvl 11 before I bought our guilds. And I had 2 friends donate 500gp a piece (they wanted to). Since I made the guild I put in 1k.

Guilds = teamwork, including purchasing stuff sometimes

Who do people want to make guilds where there are SO many out there to chose from and are looking for players??? Just curious...lol
We had members donate money, the leader and I got the money for the cape and we also pay for the web server/ Ts server etc...but the members paid for most of the guild hall....I am sure someday the other players will donate money to the server cause....but it is a big reponsibility to run a guild. Of course unless it is a three person guild and you dont plan on really getting into PvP and such.....hmm dont know..just rambling on.
